Associate Attorney - Water Resources

FAHEY SCHULTZ BURZYCH RHODES PLC (“FSBR”) is a growing law firm located in Okemos, Michigan. This firm fulfills the legal needs of municipalities, businesses, employers, and public utilities in Michigan.

FSBR has an immediate opening for an associate attorney in the Water Resources Practice Group.

Preferred candidates need experience or demonstrated interest in municipal or environmental law and/or related litigation. An associate hired into the Water Resources Practice Group can expect their skills and interests will shape the work they are assigned. Potential performance objectives include guiding and assisting clients with the following:

• Public infrastructure projects (beginning to end)
• Public engagement
• Agreement/contract drafting
• Property/easement acquisition
• Navigating layers of permitting and intergovernmental processes
• Associated litigation
• Legislative amendment coordination
