Water Resources
Holly Darling is an Administrative Assistant with Fahey Schultz Burzych Rhodes PLC’s Environment and Water Resources Group. She supports the group’s attorneys by helping keep projects, communications, conferences, and client-facing initiatives organized and moving forward.
Her role includes scheduling meetings, managing communications, organizing files, preparing documents, coordinating event logistics, and assisting with presentations and reference materials. Holly is especially skilled at bringing structure to work that involves many deadlines, people, and details. Her work spans conferences, publications, educational programming, legislative initiatives, and other efforts that support the firm’s relationships with drain commissioners and water resources professionals throughout Michigan. The Environment and Water Resources Group’s work requires a high level of organization, responsiveness, and attention to detail, and Holly’s ability to anticipate needs and follow through makes her an invaluable part of the team.
Since joining FSBR in December 2025, Holly has enjoyed learning more about Michigan’s drainage systems and the important role they play in local communities. Her work has given her a close look at how legal, governmental, and infrastructure issues connect in practical ways that affect everyday life. She has also assisted with initiatives involving the Michigan Association of County Drain Commissioners, including helping coordinate the association’s legislative outreach efforts, educational programming, and industry events that bring together drain commissioners, public officials, and policymakers from across the state.
Outside of the office, Holly is an avid reader with wide-ranging interests, from horror and fantasy to non-fiction and autobiographies. She rarely goes anywhere without a book or Kindle in her purse. She also enjoys running when the weather is nice, hot yoga, reading days with friends, and long walks through Michigan State University’s campus with her fiancé and dog.
Community Service
- Holly recently began volunteering in the community after being inspired by her fiancé. She assisted with Ronald McDonald House Charities’ “Run for the House” 5K as a course guide and looks forward to continuing her involvement in charitable events.
