Recently, Steve Schultz addressed the Michigan Municipal Treasurers Association's annual Institute on the topic of Ethics in Local Government. The half-day session in Mount Pleasant on April 23, 2012, examined both the legal underpinnings of ethical conduct and the practical problems faced by municipal officials in dealing with unethical conduct.
