Overview

Hannah is a passionate counselor and litigator who focuses her practice on serving the needs of the firm’s municipal clients. Emphasizing the importance of building client relationships, in conjunction with providing sound and thoughtful legal advice, Hannah has helped the firm’s clients navigate through contract disputes, ordinance drafting, commercial litigation, and annexation matters. Further, her prior experience as in-house counsel for a small company has made her one of the experts in the state as it relates to petitions for local ballot proposals and provided general background as it relates to the Home Rule City Act, General Law Township Act, and the Michigan Election Law.

Hannah’s success as an attorney derives from her listening skills and written advocacy. She approaches each issue with a listening ear, an eye for detail, and a commitment to thorough research and clarity. This dedicated approach ensures that her clients receive personalized attention and comprehensive guidance. To Hannah, the attorney-client relationship is more than just a business arrangement—it is a true partnership built on trust and mutual respect.

Outside of her professional life, Hannah enjoys painting, reading novels, playing lacrosse, hosting murder mystery parties, and spending time with her family and friends.

  • Drafted legal opinions for municipal clients related to permissive land uses within their boundaries

Hannah has presented on a variety of topics at various city council and township board meetings. While in law school, she authorized a Law Review Note, titled “He’s the Woman: Calling for Dissolution of Discriminatory Policies in High School Athletic Associations under the ADA.”
