Lucy DeLaParra is the Receptionist at Fahey Schultz Burzych Rhodes PLC and often the first voice or face clients, visitors, and callers encounter when connecting with the firm. In that role, she brings warmth, professionalism, and a genuine willingness to help, creating a welcoming first impression while keeping the office running smoothly behind the scenes.

Since joining FSBR in August 2025, Lucy has supported attorneys and staff across the firm by answering phones, coordinating meetings, assisting with mail and invoices, maintaining office supplies, and helping legal assistants with a variety of administrative tasks. She enjoys the fast-paced nature of her role and takes pride in helping clients, colleagues, and visitors receive timely assistance and support.

Lucy earned her Bachelor of Arts in Political Science Pre-Law from Michigan State University. Her educational background gives her a natural connection to the firm’s work, and she especially enjoys assisting with projects that support the Business and Franchise Group. She values the opportunity to continue learning about the legal profession while contributing to the firm’s client service efforts. Lucy is also a member of the firm’s Charitable Giving Committee, where she helps support initiatives that give back and make change in the community.

Outside of the office, Lucy enjoys spending time on the lake, playing tennis, thrifting, and watching scary movies.

In addition to her involvement with the firm’s Charitable Giving Committee, Lucy enjoys volunteering with the Women’s Resource Center in Petoskey and supporting efforts that make a positive impact on others.
