    Overview

Addison, known affectionately as “Addy,” is an associate attorney at FSBR. She specializes in serving franchise systems, businesses of all sizes, and clients within the dynamic restaurant and hospitality industry. Her work focuses on a variety of areas, including new franchise documentation, entity formation, trademark filing and defense, liquor licensing, and more.

During her formative years at Boise State University, Addison not only distinguished herself academically but also showcased her leadership on the Boise Women’s soccer team. Her exceptional performance both on the field and in her studies led to several academic awards and her graduating Magna Cum Laude with a degree in Political Science from Boise State University. She continued her education at Michigan State University, earning her law degree and Master’s in Business Administration with honors.

Driven by her background as an athlete, Addison was inspired to pursue a career in law. Her love for  competition, teamwork, and the pursuit of leveraging her work ethic for a greater purpose couldn’t have aligned more perfectly with the practice of law. In her time at the MSU College of Law, where she led the school’s arbitration team to back-to-back competition victories and also made a finals appearance at the 2023 National Competition.

Before joining FSBR as a summer associate, Addison garnered valuable experience, including internships with Boise State University’s Trademark Licensing office, Bauer Entertainment Marketing, and Wasserman, a global sports and entertainment agency. Her professional journey has often landed her at the intersection of marketing and transactional legal work, giving her an added understanding of the intricacies of these fields.

Addison is particularly passionate about FSBR’s work with small businesses. Her experience and education in business management make her uniquely suited to effectively serve our clients. Not only does she understand the legal and regulatory hurdles, but also the business realities that must be considered to provide practical and effective guidance.

Beyond her professional pursuits, Addison finds joy in cooking, staying active, and spending time with friends and family.
