Litigation, Municipal
David joined the firm in 2022. As a member of the municipal practice group, he advises municipalities on governance matters, regulatory compliance, code compliance, and land use issues. Beyond his municipal work, David litigates complex disputes across all of the firm’s practice areas, including franchise disputes, water and sewer rate litigation, contract disputes, and constitutional claims in both state and federal court.
David’s approach centers on providing practical, real-world solutions through meticulous attention to detail and client-focused representation. He works closely with clients to understand their objectives and craft legal strategies that address both immediate challenges and long-term goals. Whether counseling municipal clients on day-to-day operations or handling high-stakes litigation, David is committed to delivering results that make a tangible difference.
Outside the practice of law, David is married to Addison Szymanski, also an attorney with the firm. He maintains an active lifestyle as a competitive amateur golfer and has competed in the USGA Mid-Amateur Championships in both 2023 and 2025.
