Kaylin is a Paralegal supporting the firm’s Municipal agroup. She assists attorneys with case management from start to finish, including drafting and preparing legal documents, tracking deadlines, summarizing discovery, and conducting factual investigations. Kaylin plays a key role in trial preparation and organization, ensuring that attorneys have well-organized case files, exhibits, and information at their fingertips. She also supports the firm’s work on Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) matters, performs basic legal research, and maintains detailed spreadsheets to track case activity and deadlines.
She especially enjoys litigation and FOIA work, where her attention to detail and organizational skills are put to best use.
Kaylin joined Fahey Schultz Burzych Rhodes in 2021 as a Legal Assistant and transitioned to her Paralegal role in 2025. She earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Paralegal Studies (magna cum laude) from Eastern Michigan University.
Outside the office, Kaylin enjoys spending time with her husband, their young daughter, and their soon-to-arrive second little girl. She often visits family in both the Upper Peninsula and Chicago, and loves camping, beach and boat days, golfing, tennis, running, and reading.
