Marketing and Administrative Assistant
Theresa is responsible for ensuring that Fahey Schultz Burzych Rhodes PLC is presented positively and professionally to the legal community, including clients, the courts, bar associations, and several association partnerships. She holds principal responsibility for preparing and finalizing RFP responses/proposals to new clients, developing marketing materials, writing press releases, and managing the firm’s website. Theresa works with attorneys to finalize all PowerPoint presentations and handout materials. She also takes charge of the firm’s submissions for the annual Best Lawyers and Super Lawyers nominations for attorneys.
Theresa manages the administrative tasks associated with participation and attendance at conferences sponsored by the MTA, MRA, MACDC, MWWA, and others, as well as workshops and seminars put on by FSBR. She works with attorneys and staff to assist with venue selection and reservations, registration, vendor/exhibit booth scheduling, door prize donations, and the ordering of merchandise, business cards, food and beverages, and entertainment.
Theresa publishes the firm’s Municipal Group monthly Township E-Letter and drafts marketing materials to promote the newsletter as well as related webinars and workshops. She also assists in publishing the quarterly “Legislative Update” for the Michigan Association of County Drain Commissioners (MACDC), and occasionally writes articles for this publication.
Theresa joined Fahey Schultz Burzych Rhodes in 2012 as a Legal Secretary and transitioned to the firm’s Marketing and Administrative Assistant in 2018. She particularly enjoys the variety of her work at the firm. She holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Business with a concentration in Legal Office Administration from Pensacola Christian College in Florida.
Outside of work, Theresa enjoys boating, playing the piano, traveling and visiting new places, and cheering for her son in football and basketball as a sports mom.
