Ross Bower had busy fall with the Young Lawyers Section of the Bar Association
FSBR attorney Ross Bower, President of the Ingham County Bar Association's Young Lawyers Section (YLS), led YLS in numerous community service activities this fall, including the annual Horn of Plenty drive and judging a mock congressional hearing for local public school students. The Horn of Plenty program involved collecting food, clothing, and monetary donations for two deserving local charities — Volunteers of America and Cristo Rey Community Center. FSBR continued its yearly participation in the food and clothing drive, along with over 20 other local firms and businesses. Ross and other YLS members also volunteered to judge a mock congressional hearing at a local high school. To close out the 2010 season, YLS hosted a holiday fundraiser in conjunction with the State Bar of Michigan's Young Lawyers Section and the Lansing Black Lawyers Association, where proceeds were donated to the Mid-Michigan Food Bank.
