Cole to the law firm to join the firm’s business practice, trained in franchising, intellectual property, liquor licensing, and general business law. He becomes the 10th attorney at the Okemos law firm, which opened in 2008 and now serves a growing number of franchising and other businesses, including Two Men and a Truck®, Bagger Dave’s Legendary Burger Tavern®, Goldfish Swim School®, Auto-Lab Complete Car Care Centers®, El Azteco®, Aubree’s®, Menna’s Joint®, Out of the Box Technology®, Appletree Christian Learning Centers™, Holiday Deli & Ham Co.™, Pimento’s Café & Market®, and Freakin’ Unbelievable Burgers®.
Michael joined Fahey Schultz Burzych Rhodes PLC after practicing in Washington, DC. While in our nation’s Capital, Michael’s practice focused on a wide range of corporate, transactional, compliance, and regulatory matters. In addition to being a member of the State Bar of Michigan, Michael is admitted to practice law in Virginia and is an inactive member of the District of Columbia Bar.
Michael received his Juris Doctor (magna cum laude) from Thomas M. Cooley Law School in May, 2011. While in law school, he served as a Managing Associate Editor of the Thomas M. Cooley Law Review. Michael is also a 2008 graduate of Michigan State University.
